Olympic Legacy Supplementary Planning Guidance
The draft Olympic Legacy Supplementary Planning Guidance (OLSPG) covers an area of around 2,000 hectares of east London focused on the main Olympic and Paralympic Games site at Stratford. It covers four local authority boundaries and proposes six overarching development principles designed to address the key strategic planning issues the area faces. These are:
- Homes and communities
- Business and employment
- Connectivity and transport
- Urban form
- Sustainable development
- Convergence
Given the size and complexity of the area, it has been divided into five geographical sub-areas within which more detailed advice is focussed. These are:
- Olympic Park
- Stratford
- Southern Olympic Fringe
- Hackney Wick & Fish Island
- Northern Olympic Fringe
