Draft SPG Affordable Housing note

The Mayor has published for public consultation a draft supplementary planning guidance note on affordable housing. This deals with how the Government’s new affordable rent housing product can be used to implement the policies in the Plan. It deals both with setting affordable housing targets in Local Development Frameworks, and with negotiation of affordable housing on private residential and mixed use development sites.

The closing date for comments on this draft guidance was Friday 3 February 2012.
