Oxford Street is the burial ground for London Busses. Once in, it is difficult to see an end to them.Evry civilised city in Europe (I stress civilised) has a form of Tram transportation.It should not be difficult to have a Tram System that goes around in a circle around Oxford Street, Regent Street, Picadilly, and Park Lane. That could be the central point with trams radiating outward from there to Knightsbridge, Covent Garden, Notting Hill. So that all the main shopping and entertainment areas are covered.The space is there, we just need the will. Then all those big bloody busses can be removed and traffic can start to flow properly through the city. People don't tend to block trams and trams don;t tend to run red lights and block streets..
