Getting young Londoners fired up about their city

The GLA offers a year-round programme of free education visits based in City Hall.

The visits are designed to enthuse young Londoners about their city, to explain the roles and responsibilities of the Greater London Authority, the Mayor of London and the London Assembly, and to encourage debate and involvement in an interesting and fun way.

This academic year the visits also have a London 2012 Olympics theme, and your students will learn about:

  • London’s unique place in the history of the modern Olympic movement
  • Different ways to get involved in London 2012
  • The legacy of the games
