Date & venue: 1-5pm, 1 August, London House, City Hall

The World Cities Culture Summit is an international collaboration between ten world cities, examining the character and centrality of culture in world cities. It will launch the World Cities Culture Report 2012, the most comprehensive report of its kind. The report demonstrates that across the globe, culture is as important to the world city as finance and trade. From New York to Shanghai, Mumbai to Tokyo culture plays an integral role in shaping the world city’s identity, economy and public policy.

On 1st August, delegates from ten world cities will join many of the capital's key cultural institutions, academics and senior policymakers for a summit to discuss culture and the future of world cities.
