Team London Small Grants

Team London, the Mayor's volunteering programme, is delighted to be offering £100,000 in grants to community groups and other third sector organisations during 2017.

Since 2011, we have invested more than £550,000 and supported over 50 organisations. The projects funded have helped tens of thousands of Londoners and created exciting new volunteering projects and campaigns.

In 2017, we are offering grants of up to £10,000 to help organisations run new or existing volunteer projects during 27 March 2017 - 30 March 2018.

The projects funded should increase volunteering amongst 59-69 year olds who are about to leave the workforce or have just left it. This will encourage them to use their skills for the benefit of the community. The funds can also be used to increase the number of volunteers supporting older people to access the community services and support.

How much can you apply for?

We will make grants of between £5,000 and £10,000 for core costs, equipment or project funding to organisations who can show that a grant will make a significant difference to their work. Successful applications should demonstrate the ongoing sustainability of their project.

How to apply

  1. Read our Team London Small Grants - Application Guidance document
  2. Review the application questions and ensure you have all information available before completing the application form
  3. Complete the online application form before 23.59 on Wednesday 8 February 2017
