Feast of St George for families

Child on a fairground ride
Created on
11 April 2017

Want to celebrate St George’s Day with the family? We’ve got you covered with a treasure trail, fairground rides, dance workshops and more.

Family Treasure Trail

Got a young Sherlock or wannabe Watson in your brood? Join the Quest for the Dragon’s Name treasure trail.

Following a free map, your detectives will meet real knights and ladies in the streets around Trafalgar Square, who will share clues to help decipher the Dragon’s name.

The trail runs from 11:30am - 5pm and takes 90 minutes to complete. The first 100 to meet the Dragon in the Square and know his name will win a ‘Treasure Trail’ token and get knighted by the King.
