Croydon Tram Incident

We offer our sincere condolences to all those affected by the tram derailment on Wednesday near Sandilands in Croydon.

If you have been affected and would like advice or support please see this information from the London Borough of Croydon. Additional information is available from British Transport Police and Transport for London.

If you have information which might assist the investigation you can contact the Rail Accident Investigation Branch.

You can also donate to the offical appeal fund to help the victims, families and communities.

Outlook for this weekend

On Saturday the Lord Mayor's Show will see more than 7,000 people, 200 horses and 150 floats in a three mile procession from Mansion House to the Royal Courts of Justice and back to welcome Dr Andrew Parmley as the City of London's 689th Lord Mayor.

Sunday will see a variety of Rememberance events across London, including the televised events from Whitehall.

There's a chance of patchy heavy rain over the weekend, so if you missed last week's blog, take a look at how you could help reduce your own risk and be Flood Aware.

Wishing you a safe weekend,

Tom, London Resilience Officer
