The 7 July Review Committee is formally established by the London Assembly as the London Resilience Committee.

Members of the Committee:

A meeting of the Committee has been called by the Chairman of the Committee to deal with the business listed below. This meeting will be open to the public. There is access for disabled people, and induction loops are available.

1. Apologies for Absence and Chairman’s Announcements

To receive any apologies for absence and any announcements from the Chairman.

2. Declarations of Interests

To note membership of Functional Bodies and London Borough Councils and to declare any other personal or prejudicial interest in specific items of the agenda.

3. Minutes

To confirm the minutes of the meeting of the 7 July Review Committee held on 14 June 2006.

4. Follow-up to the Report of the 7 July Review Committee

The Committee will discuss what progress has been made in implementing the recommendations in the Report of the 7 July Review Committee on lessons learned from the response to the 7 July bomb attacks.  Senior representatives of the following organisations have been invited to attend the meeting to give evidence:

  • Transport for London
  • Metropolitan Police Service
  • British Transport Police
  • City of London Police
  • London Fire Brigade
  • London Ambulance Service
  • NHS London
Responses received from Transport for London, Metropolitan Police Service, City of London Police, London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority and London Ambulance Service are available for download below, together with all the other responses made to the Committee’s report.
