1. Apologies for Absence and Chair’s Announcements
To receive any apologies for absence and any announcements from the Chair.
2. Declarations of Interests
The Assembly is recommended to note membership of Functional Bodies and London Borough Councils and to declare any other personal or prejudicial interest in specific items of the agenda, including interests arising from any gifts or hospitality received since 12 September 2007 or, if elected after 12 September 2007, from the date of election to the London Assembly.
3. Mayor's Report
Recommendation: That the Mayor’s Report covering the period from 28 August –1 October 2008 be noted.

Report of: Executive Director of Secretariat
- That the Assembly agrees that the Standing Order relating to the receipt of petitions at Mayor’s Question Time be suspended for the duration of the meeting to allow the petition listed in the report to be received; and
- That the Assembly notes the petition received and decides whether to refer and to seek a response to the points raised in the petitions.

7. Date of Next Meeting
The next meeting of the Assembly (Mayor’s Question Time) will be held on Wednesday 12 November 2008 at 10.00 am in the Chamber, City Hall.
8. Any Other Business the Chair Considers Urgent
In accordance with section 100(B)(4) of the Local Government
Act 1972, the Chair has agreed to accept the following as an item of urgent
business in order to enable it to be considered at the earliest opportunity.
Assembly Plenary Meeting – 14 January 2009
It is proposed that the Assembly uses the 14 January Plenary meeting to
hold a Functional Body Question Time with Transport for London.
Recommendation:
- That the Assembly agrees that the 14 January 2009 Assembly Plenary
meeting be used to hold a Functional Body Question Time with Transport
for London; and
- That the Assembly, under section 61 of
the Greater London Authority Act 1999, requires the attendance of the Mayor,
Boris Johnson (in his capacity as Chair of Transport for London), and Peter
Hendy (Commissioner, Transport for London) at the 14 January 2009 Assembly
Plenary meeting, for which notice will be given in accordance with section
62 of the Greater London Authority Act 1999 in due course, to answer questions
in relation to the policies and work of Transport for London.
