Eid in the Square
For
the third year the Muslim Festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end
of Ramadan, will be celebrated in Trafalgar Square. Eid
in the Square,
on the afternoon of Saturday 11 October, will include live entertainment,
exhibitions and displays. All are welcome.
Fourth Plinth
The 'Fourth Plinth' in Trafalgar Square is the location for specially commissioned art works - currently Thomas Schütte's Model for a Hotel 2007. Antony Gormley and Yinka Shonibare have been selected from a shortlist of six artists for the next two commissions. Read more about the Fourth Plinth.
Café
What better place to enjoy a drink or snack than in London’s most famous public square? The Café on the Square offers a range of freshly-made and locally-sourced food, as well as hot and cold drinks, and is open every day. The café is also available for hire.
